Built in 1884, the White Spruce Inn is the oldest building in town. The restaurant was established in 1943 and has been the hub for locals and visitors ever since. Twelve boat slips graced the 340ft of frontage on the river, which is perfect boat parking for your waterfront guests from the the Eagle River chain of lakes. The outdoor deck accommodates up to 50 people and offers beautiful views of the riverfront without blocking the view of those inside. And these views make this the perfect spot year round to relax and watch the game, the water or the wildlife, all while enjoying an amazing meal and great company. Both the interior and the exterior have been impeccably maintained and updated and almost everything in this kitchen and dining room has been replaced in the last two to four years. As you step through the doors you will feel like you are stepping back in time. The log walls, ceiling and stone fireplace holds the memories of an air long gone while creating a historic ambiance that cannot be replicated anywhere in the Northwoods. With a traffic count of approximately14,000 cars per day, seating for over 140 and easy access to snowmobile and ATV trails, this spot, this location and this restaurant is as good as it gets. Call now and see how you can become a part of this historic journey.
